Donkey Basketball Game Happening in North Louisiana
SHREVEPORT, LA - If you are one of those people who like to find those unique, quirky events happening in our area, this one is for you.

On Saturday, November 2, DeSoto Sheriff Deputies will face off against students and teachers from Stanley High School in a donkey basketball game for the ages! This will be a 5 VS 5 face off where all players will be riding donkeys in an attempt to score baskets.
How Many Donkey Games Will Be Happening?
There will be two games with 4 teams, and there is still time from the school to sign up to play. This fun event is happening on Saturday, Nov. 2nd in the Stanley High School Gym, at 7pm.
How Much Are Tickets to the Donkey Basketball Game?
You can buy your tickets early for $8 each, or $10 at the door. This event is a fundraiser for the Stanley High School Cheerleaders and you are encouraged to come out and enjoy the game and help raise some much needed funds. You can click here to buy tickets in advance.

If you are interested in playing in this event, you have to be comfortable on a donkey. You can click here to find out how to play.
I'm sure they might also need a little help with the cleanup crew. I played in one of these games more than 40 years ago and let's just say you had to be careful navigating the gym floor after a few plays.
