Could Southeast Shreveport Really Leave the City? [VIDEO]

John Lorick and John Harris talk with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the possibility of southeast Shreveport "de-annexing" from the city.

The two represent a growing group from a part of Shreveport they refer to as Ellerbe Park and tell KEEL listeners that those citizens feel more and more that they are not being treated fairly by city government.

The two also explain what areas of the city are included in their plan, how much of the total city revenue comes from their part of town and what steps are necessary for a major section of Shreveport to de-annex.
