Tragedy in north Caddo Parish where a two-year-old child was pronounced dead after being pulled from Black Bayou Lake in the Hosston community.
Caddo deputies responded to the call at about 10am on Monday morning when family members realized the child had wandered into the water. The toddler's mother found the little boy in the lake and pulled him out of the water. He was airlifted to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
This tragedy happened in the 15100 block of Gator Hole Freeway in Hosston. The toddler was found in the water behind a neighbor’s home.
CPSO Youth Services detectives and crime scene investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened.
