Chase at Creswell and Kings Highway Ends With Wreck Fleeing Suspect [PHOTOS]

At approximately 10:15pm tonight, a high speed chase after an attempted traffic stop ended at the corner of Creswell and Kings Highway with one vehicle going into a spin ejecting one of the males inside.

The vehicle struck several telephone poles causing traffic light outages at the intersection. Two other males left the scene on foot towards Gladstone Blvd. running between houses and are currently being searched for by Shreveport Police. While some residents reported hearing shots fired to police, that has not be substantiated at this time says Corporal Hines Shreveport Police Public Information Officer. He adds that the initial impact of the crash could have been the sound neighbors heard. There are also reports of cocaine being found inside the vehicles and Shreveport CRU taskforce are on scene along with K-9 units searching for the missing suspect. The individual ejected from the vehicle was taken to University Health Medical Center and his name has not yet been released.
