All charges against former Shreveport Fire Chief Craig Mulford in connection with the Fire Station 8 investigation have been thrown out by the Caddo District Attorney's Office.

Mulford was facing five counts of malfeasance in office. He claimed he was unfairly singled out in the Station 8 scandal, which cost seven firefighters their jobs. Mulford has been fighting the charges ever since.

Mulford was fired back in September of 2014. KEEL News spoke with his attorney, Paul Carmouche, who said Mulford will be trying to get some back pay from the city, but he didn't say whether the former chief will try to be reinstated to the fire department.

Robert J. Wright with the KEEL Morning Show will be speaking to Mr. Carmouche Thursday morning just after 8:00 to find out more. Be sure to tune in to Newsradio 710 KEEL for the latest.
