“Cat Lady” Arrested on Drug Charges

Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a Haughton woman on drug charges.  47-year-old Carol McKnight has been booked on two counts of distributing Methamphetamine "Ice," one count of distributing Xanax and one count of distributing Darvocet.  Her arrest was the result of undercover buys made by narcotics agents since 2010. Inside McKnight's single-wide trailer, deputies found the strong smell of ammonia and more than 50 cats!  Bossier Parish Animal Control was called to take care of them.
