Promotions and awards for Caddo sheriff's deputies today. Two deputies were promoted by Sheriff Steve Prator at a ceremony this morning at Caddo Correctional Center. Theressa Jefferson, a nine-year deputy, now holds the rank of sergeant in the Corrections Division. Joyce Terry, a two-year-deputy, is now TCO Supervisor II in the Communications Division. Sheriff Prator also honored numerous deputies who have served for 10, 15 and 20 years. In addition, the Sheriff's Office Medal of Merit was presented to Corporal Willie Williams for capturing a bank robbery suspect in December, while he was off duty. Three deputies received the office's Lifesaving Award for giving aid to an inmate who attempted suicide at CCC. Congratulations to you all!
