We're now a couple of days removed from a hectic Halloween weekend in Shreveport.

This weekend was a wild one to say the least. Maybe it was because we didn't really have a true Halloween last year, so everyone was out and about this weekend. It was complete madness both Saturday and Sunday night, where the roadways were full all around town, and parties were being thrown all over the city.

Does that translate into a busy weekend at Caddo Correctional? After looking through the bookings for both 10/30 and 10/31, I would say no. The number of bookings over the weekend was relatively low compared to the average, with 24 inmates being booked over the weekend. The charges were a little different than expected as well. Over Halloween weekend, I'm not seeing one single DUI booking at Caddo Correctional. That was surprising to me considering the nature of Halloween weekend. Five of the bookings do not have charges listed yet, but once they are added, I will update this article.

There are a few head-turners from the Halloween weekend bookings. In this group, we have child desertion, a loud sound system, a gun on a school campus, and one out-of-state fugitive who racked up nine charges. We also have several writ of attachment arrests, as well as the usual contempt of courts as well as drug charges.

All of those listed here are innocent until proven guilty. Their inclusion here is not an assertion of guilt.

Here are the bookings from Halloween weekend in Caddo Parish.
