Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos April 26th-May 2nd

This week, 86 people were booked and kept at Caddo Correctional Center for various crimes.

Several of those booked were arrested following "Operation Curveball". A city-wide sweep, taking care of known crimes being committed within the city.

Four of those pictured were arrested for prostitution in a local massage parlor.

"Operation Curveball" was a huge three-day operation by Shreveport Police to clean up some of the crime known to Police around the city.

One of the busts made during the operation was aimed at combating prostitution and human trafficking.

SPD Vice Agents were able to pull-off an undercover sting at a massage parlor, and arrest four women for prostitution related charges. All four women were charged with prostitution, prostitution by massage, and sexual conduct in a massage parlor.

The following women were arrested in the massage parlor:

-Zhao, Aiying

-Xia, Xiaolan

-Wang, Shayang

-Li, Yan

SPD has been making huge efforts to reduce human trafficking by targeting and taking-out the demand. Stings like these help to slow the need for human trafficking in our area, and hurts the cycle that allow these crimes to go on.

Another one that got booked this week, is a teenager who pulled a gun and made threats during a fight.

Earlier this week, foot-patrol Officers with SPD responded to a disturbance at the Aspen Apartments on Baird Road. When Police got there, they found several people who were just involved in some kind of fight.

Some of the fight was caught on a cell-phone video. When Officers looked through the footage, they saw 17-year-old Amberdeice Fuller grabbing a handgun out of her backpack and pointing it at someone while making verbal threats.

While investigating, SPD Officers were able to find the gun and arrest Fuller. She was charged with Disturbing the Peace by Fighting and Aggravated Assault. This is another outstanding job by SPD officers as they responded quickly and ended what could have become a more violent incident.
