The Caddo Parish Commission could be making changes to save tax payers money. Commissioner Steve Jackson introduced an ordinance that would impose restrictions on how much commissioners can travel and where they can travel to.

Jackson's plan is to have commissioners tell the commission where they are going, why they are going there and what benefits the trip could be bring to the parish before being approved. He also said the commission would also like to hear from the public before approving any trip.

Jackson hopes this new plan would take away any potential for abuse of the travel policy.
