
Bossier Sheriff’s Office to Hold Summer Shooting Sports Program
The Bossier Sheriff's Office will be hosting a summer shooting program for boys and girls ages 10 thru 14 years starting at the end of May. This program will include Target BB Gun Rifle, Archery, and a 20-gauge shotgun. A Louisiana Hunter's Education Certification class will also be given during this program.
Course Dates:
May 30-June 1
June 6-8, 13-15, 20-22, 27-29
July 5-7, 11-13, 18-20, 25-27.
Course Times: 8am - 4pm
Location: Bossier Sheriff's Office Shooting Sports Range - Plain Dealing, La.
Camps will last for three days. Students will be provided lunch by the Bossier Sheriff's Office. Camps will be limited to 15 students per session. Transportation will be provided by the Bossier Sheriff's Office departing from and returning to the Viking Dr. Sub Station in Bossier City.
Course Itinerary:
Day 1- Registration, La. Hunters Ed., BB Gun Target Shooting
Day 2- La. Hunters Ed., Intro to Archery/Archery Range
Day 3 - La. Hunters Ed. and Test, Intro to Shotgun/Shotgun Range
This program is FREE to all Bossier Parish students and is sponsored by the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.
