Bossier Police Need Help Identifying Suspect in Bomb Scare
Bossier City Police are working to identify the person responsible for leaving a suspicious suitcase at Pierre Bossier Mall Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses saw the man intentionally leave a suitcase containing a pressure cooker near the JC Penney's around 1 pm.
The Bossier City Fire Department Bomb Squad detonated the suitcase found outside Pierre Bossier Mall, and no explosives were inside.
The Bossier Police Department issued this statement regarding the suspect:
The person of interest in this case is described as a black male appearing to be in his mid-30’s, between 5’10” and 6’0” tall, approximately 180 pounds, a “scruff beard”, a gold tooth and with close cut hair. He was wearing a black colored hoodie, black colored pants and bright red colored shoes.
