Bossier City resident Scott Wells was paralyzed in a car accident in South Carolina...but he hasn't let that stop him from achieving big dreams. In early October, he'll embark on a 250-mile handcycle ride that'll take him all over the state. It's being called "Cycling for Independence," a fundraiser to raise awareness of brain and spinal cord injuries...and the need to bring a hospital to our area to focus specifically on that injury, recovery and rehabilitation.
