Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Bossier City man was arrested this past Friday afternoon for two counts of improper telephone usage and one count of stalking.

Christopher Jacquis Moore, 21, of the 1400 block of Winchester Drive, was arrested after admitting to detectives that he called the mother of his child approximately 30 times over a very short period of time.  Moore left a voice recording on the victim’s phone stating, “You know what time it is when I see you.  I’m going to hurt you.”

A deputy made contact with Moore to discuss the phone call that had been made to the victim.  While using very strong profanity, Moore told the deputy that he could call her when he wanted and that there was nothing that he could do about it.  He also stated that there was nothing the police could do about it.  During an interview with detectives, Moore was also sarcastic and attempted to intimidate the officers.

Moore made the phone calls just after his release from the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for domestic abuse battery and simple assault charges.  Those charges were perpetrated against the same victim as the improper telephone usage and stalking charges listed above.

Moore was arrested and transported back to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. Moore’s bond was set at $3,000.
