Blood and Marrow Registry Drive Held Today in Honor of Bossier Deputy
The Bossier Sheriff's Office joined with LifeShare Blood Centers Marrow Registry Program to host a registry drive in honor of Sgt. Barrett Lovell.
The 33-year-old Bossier sheriff's deputy has been aggressively fighting cancer for the past three months.
A second drive is being held January 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the second-floor assembly room of the Shreveport Police Department. Everyone is welcome to donate blood and sign up for the bone marrow registry.
