It has been a long time since we were able to gather together for a concert at the biggest venue in Bossier City.  So long, in fact - the venue itself has a completely different name now.  Formerly known as the Centurylink Center, the newly rebranded Brookshire's Grocery Arena (BGA) is ready for business.

Not only is it ready to host concerts, monster truck rallies, and live shows like Blippi the Musical  - it's ready to quench your thirst, too!  According to the ArkLaTex Homepage, officials with the BGA have announced a brand new edition to the complex - the Bud Barn!

Sure you can get drinks inside the arena, but the new addition will give Shreveport-Bossier City revelers a golden opportunity to do so right outside the concert space.  It seems like the 2nd most perfect place to go when your date says "It's so loud in here, can we go someplace quieter?"

This food and drink oasis is sponsored by Budweiser and Shreveport’s Eagle Distributing, and you'll get the chance to explore and enjoy it at your very next show!  According to Rebecca Bonnevier, Brookshire Grocery Arena General Manager, the Bud Barn will officially be open on Thursday, July 29th for the 3 Doors Down and Seether concert.

Will this new watering hole be the place to be after concerts?  Time will tell, but the folks at BGA have certainly made it easier to extend an already exciting night out with friends.
