Barksdale B-52s and Crews Headed for Guam
Flight and ground crews and their B-52 bombers leave Barksdale Air Force Base tomorrow for Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
Movements of this nature have been taking place since March of 2004. It's an effort to demonstrate continuing U-S commitment to stability and security in the Asia-Pacific Region. The constant rotation into and out of Guam is designed to provide Pacific Air Force and the U-S Pacific Command a continuous bomber presence and deterrent capability in the region.
