Arrest Made in Shreveport Shooting that Injured 2
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police make an arrest in shooting that injures two people
On September 25th, 2023, at 3:29 p.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1900 block of David Raines Drive. Responding officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began their investigation into the incident. Investigators determined that a truck stopped in the middle of David Raines Drive. A suspect exited the vehicle and shot the victims standing on the corner of a nearby store. After a thorough investigation detectives found Recardo Robinson (11/9/2003) reportedly shot at the victims and fled the scene.
Detectives and Patrol officers were able to locate Robinson on September 29th and he was arrested for three counts of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
