[original]  A Shreveport man has been arrested for a Friday evening shooting spree that left two people wounded in Shreveport's Queensborough neighborhood.

18-year-old La'darrius Lee has been booked into the Shreveport City Jail on two counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Police say two people were wounded while walking in the 3400 block of Darien Street. 21-year-old Demetrius Brooks suffered a leg wound and a 17-year-old female was shot in the chest.  Both were taken to LSU Health for treatment.  Police say both are expected to survive their wounds.

An investigation led detectives to Lee who witnesses say fired several shots toward a group of people walking in the 3400 block of Darien.  He was tracked down and arrested, without incident, at a house in the 3500 block of Darien.  The investigation continues as detectives attempt to determine the circumstances that led to the shootings.
