An Arkansas truck driver was extradited to Caddo Parish on Friday to face charges that he raped a woman at a gas station in Greenwood in 2010, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.  Donald R. Hux, 36, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on an arrest warrant for aggravated rape.  The warrant was obtained in 2010 following an investigation by Detective Terry Richardson of the Caddo Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division.

According to the investigation, Hux met the victim on-line and arranged to meet her in person in Greenwood on May 13, 2010.  That meeting took place at a gas station on Hwy. 80 where Hux is accused of pulling the woman into the cab of his 18-wheeler and raping her while armed with a gun.

When Hux returned home to Eldorado, Arkansas, the following day, he was arrested by Arkansas authorities for a similar offense that occurred around the same time in Lubbock, Texas.  Hux has been in custody in Lubbock, Texas, since May of 2010 and is now back in Caddo Parish to face the local charge.

Bond for Hux has been set at $500,000.
