We've seen a few pictures recently of the critters that are crawling out of lakes and rivers as the waters rise, but this is one of the biggest we've seen.

Mike Ringgold sent of the photo of this gator hanging out on the bank of the Red River by the Horseshoe Casino. We've also seen pics of snakes and other animals fleeing the high water on the river for higher ground. The river is still rising and is expected to crest at 33 feet on June 5th. Flood stage on the Red River in Shreveport is 30 feet.
