‘A Grateful Nation’ to Air on Memorial Day

The Fisher House's annual Memorial Day show "A Grateful Nation" will air on 710 KEEL in lieu of our morning show on Monday, May 27.

From 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Memorial Day, Scott Slade will host the show, which honors US soldiers who died defending our freedoms.

In addition to stories remembering our fallen soldiers, Slade will deliver profiles of wounded warriors who overcame adversity to create a happy life, discuss how our country remembers those who made the ultimate sacrifice and celebrate the strong families that shoulder the heaviest burden imaginable.

"It's so important that we continue to remember and support our volunteer military and families," says Slade. "These folks make incredible sacrifices to protect our freedom and keep us safe. I'm honored to tell their stories."
