81-year-old Man Arrested For Rape Of Juvenile

Caddo Sheriff's detectives have arrested an elderly Shreveport man for the rape of a 6-year-old girl.

81-year-old James Edward Dickens, of the 7400 block of Whispering Pines Drive, is accused of having sexual contact with the juvenile victim on several occasions in 2016 at his home in Caddo Parish.

Dickens was arrested Tuesday and booked into Caddo Correctional Center for first-degree rape.
