Benteler Steel/Tube Receives National Recognition

A leading national site selection magazine has honored Benteler Steel/Tube with one of its 2012 Corporate Investment and Community Impact awards.  

Benteler, you may recall, is the German-based company that's building a $900-million hot rolling tube mill at the Caddo-Bossier Port. When fully operational, the mill is expected to create 675 new direct jobs paying an average annual salary of $50-thousand plus benefits.  More than 400 projects from throughout North America were submitted for the Trade and Industry Development awards.  Benteler and the other winners will be featured in the March/April issue.
