The West Nile Virus continues to spread.  The state Department of Health and Hospitals reports 19 new confirmed cases.  Thirteen of those are the potentially deadly neuroinvasive disease -- and one of those is right here in Caddo Parish.  In all, 33 cases of West Nile Virus -- in one of its three forms -- have been confirmed this year in Louisiana.  West Nile is spread by mosquitoes.  Anyone is at risk for infection but those 65 and older are at a higher risk for complications.
