We’re One Step Closer To Having A Dog Park In Shreveport

Applesinmybra, Flickr

Shreveport is one step closer to having a dog park.  The City Council has passed an ordinance allowing for the creation of one or more off-the-leash dog parks within the city.  But it doesn’t involve spending any city money.

A citizens group, known as the Dog Park Alliance, would have to come up with the money through fund-raising efforts and donations.  The City Council does play a role in approving the site’s location though.
