Weekend shooting on I-20 Leaves Two Wounded
The Bossier City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday morning on I-20 that left two people injured.
Police were called I-20 at Traffic Street just before 5:00 A.M. on a call of shots fired. Two victims told police they were riding in an eastbound vehicle as it was traveling to Bossier from Shreveport when another vehicle pulled up along side them and someone inside that vehicle began firing at them. 24-year-old Richard Williams of Bossier City sustained gunshot wounds to his leg while his sister, 28-year-old Antonya Williams of Bossier City, was shot in the buttocks. Their injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening. The driver of the victim’s vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived.
No arrests have been made. The case remains under investigation.
