[UPDATE]  Shreveport police are searching for a couple of vehicles believed to be connected to a fatal weekend shooting.  Surveillance footage from the Raceway station in the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue shows a yellow Chevy Camaro with dark-tinted windows and black wheels, along with a maroon-colored four-door Chevy Impala with dark-tinted windows and what appear to be factory wheels, leaving the scene. 

Police believe whoever was inside these cars fired shots at each other.  Investigators say 28-year-old Jonathon Davis was wounded in the shooting and later died.  Call Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 if you recognize either vehicle.


[ORIGINAL STORY]  Shreveport police are still searching for answers in a deadly weekend shooting.  Officers say 28-year-old Jonathon Davis was sitting inside his car at the Raceway gas station in the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue, near I-20, when he was apparently shot once in the upper body.  He drove himself to University Health, where he later died. 

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, but police are trying to identify and locate the person or people responsible.  If you have any information that can help, you're urged to contact Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
