A pair of overnight shootings in Shreveport leaves a couple of people nursing non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Just before 10 last night, officers were called to the emergency room at LSUHSC to find a victim there with a gunshot wound to the left hand. He told them he was walking in the 1700 block of Perrin, when a man approached him from behind and tried to rob him. He says he took off running and the would-be robber shot him in the hand. He flagged down a friend, who gave him a ride to the hospital. Just moments later, another man showed up at the same hospital with a gunshot wound to the right forearm. He told officers he was riding his bike near the intersection of Olive and Coty, when two men tried to rob him. He also took off...and one of the men fired a shot at him. Family members took him to the hospital. Detectives are trying to figure out whether the two crimes are related. They're asking anyone with information that might help to call them or Crime Stoppers.
