Two Arrests Made in Mamie Hicks Park Shooting That Left 16-Year-Old Wounded
Two men are behind bars for a shooting that left a 16-year-old wounded. Shreveport police say the male juvenile was shot once in the upper body at Mamie Hicks Park.
He ran away and later collapsed in the 300 block of Mayfair Drive. While he continues to recover, detectives have arrested two people in connection with the shooting.
They say 25-year-old Jeremy Madison faces attempted first-degree murder and 17-year-old Jay'veon Arthur is charged with illegal use of a weapon. They've been booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
