Two 19-year-olds have been booked into the Shreveport City Jail on four counts each of armed robbery.  Police were called to the Shoe Show footwear store in the 1900 block of North Market just before 10:30 this morning.  Employees told them that two men with their faces partially covered and armed with handguns had entered the store and ordered the clerk to hand over money from the register.  Then they took off running.

Police immediately began searching the neighborhood and K-9 Jasko led them to a home in the 1700 block of Pointe Coupee Drive.  Once inside, officers found two men who matched the description of the suspects.  They also discovered clothing items believed work by one of the suspects in a trash bin behind the home.  Two guns like those used in the robbery and separate bundles of cash were found stashed inside a couch in the residence.

After questioning 19-year-olds Frederick McKinley and Cardarius O'Neal, detectives were able to link them not only to this morning's robbery but also to three other recent armed robberies -- all in the same general area.
