Two Armed Robbery Suspects In Custody, Third Sought

Officers with the Shreveport Police Department’s Community Response Unit located 19 year old Raymond Johnson on October 20, 2011 in the 1900 block of Patzman Street and took him into custody without incident. Less than 48 hours later, patrol officers captured 19 year old Jerry Wayne McDowell at a home in the 7400 block of McArthur Drive. Detectives believe McDowell, of the 3200 block of Willer Street in Shreveport, and  and Raymond Johnson, of the 1900 block of Patzman Street in Shreveport , robbed two individuals on October 1, 2011 in the 1600 block of Fullerton Street. Both men were booked into the Shreveport City Jail on arrest warrants charging them with one count of armed robbery each. Their bonds are set at $100,000.

Authorities are still searching for 21 year old Latrell Taylor, of the 1700 block Booker T. Washington Avenue in Shreveport, who has an outstanding arrest warrant charging him with one count of armed robbery for this same offense. Taylor’s bond is set at $40,000.
