Louisiana Film Prize kicks off their annual Festival this weekend in the SBC! Here is everything you need to know about the coolest film prize on the planet.

Louisiana Film Prize is in its third year in Shreveport-Bossier. This year's festival kicks off Thursday with Louisiana Music Prize and wraps on Sunday with the ceremony that will make one short filmmaker $50,000 richer.

7:00p Doors Open for the Louisiana Music Prize - Voodoo Cafe – An Art Bar (622 Commerce St.)

Friday, October 10

12:00p Film Screenings Open - Robinson Film Center, Capri Theater, and Artstation.

 Voting Opens (700 Texas St.)- There’s no way you can have seen all 20 films before this time.

9:00a Screenings Resume - Robinson Film Center, Capri Theater, and Artstation.

11:00a Screenings begin at Bossier Arts Council venue opens in Bossier City.
12:00p Voting Opens for Saturday.

Sunday, October 12

11:00a-2:00p Awards Brunch at artspace with the $50,000 winner and Founder’s Circle recipients announced. VIPs and filmmakers only. Event will be streamed online. Link will be posted Sunday morning.
