Shreveport police detectives have charged a teenager in connection with a shooting back in early March that left a cab driver wounded. The shooting happened March 6th in the 1600 block of Fullerton. The cab driver -- 56-year-old Danny Tate -- told officers he was picking up a fare, when he was approached by three males. He says at least one of them pulled a handgun and robbed him of $20 -- then one of them shot him and all three took off on foot. Detectives developed a 16-year-old male as a suspect in the case. He was arrested last night and booked into the Caddo Juvenile Detention Center on one count of attempted first-degree murder. Investigators are working to identify and capture other possible suspects. If you can help, call them or Crime Stoppers.
