Bossier City Shoplifter Also Faces Drug Charges

What started out as a shoplifting call turned into a drug bust. Bossier City Police were called to the Dillard's store at Pierre Bossier Mall after store security reported seeing a man conceal several articles of men's clothing in a shopping bag and leave the store.

Free Crime Prevention Training IS Available to Local Businesses

The Shreveport Police Department is offering free crime prevention training to retailers across the city. In light of some increases last month in reported shoplifting offenses as well as other thefts from businesses, the department’s Community Oriented Policing Bureau is reminding merchants of a free service they provide aimed at reducing those types of crimes
