The results of the Bossier City Police Department's latest safety checkpoint are in. The operation was held yesterday afternoon between 2 and 6 in the 2200 block of Shed Road. Officers checked just over 390 vehicles and wrote 18 citations to motorists who were not wearing seat belts, and 10 to motorists who didn't have children in proper safety retraints

Results are in from a weekend sobriety checkpoint in Bossier City. Bossier police conducted the checkpoint for four hours, beginning at 11 Friday night, in the 5600 block of Barksdale Boulevard -- and there were no DWI arrests.

Officers checked a total of 355 vehicles and issued seven citations to motorists for no insurance and impounded six vehicles
