Shreveport police detectives are searching for a local man accused of giving a juvenile alcohol and drugs. Last October, patrol officers got a call from a concerned citizen regarding an adult male who was allegedly providing alcoholic beverages and narcotics to a child. Detectives immediately began their investigation. Based on the information they gathered, they’ve obtained an arrest warrant charging 39-year-old Shane Smethers of Shreveport with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They’re looking for him now. If you know where he can be found, you’re urged to call Shreveport detectives or Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers.
