Caddo deputies arrested a Shreveport woman for using an elderly woman’s personal information and credit card to charge thousands of dollars.

April Metcalf, 39, of the 2400 block of Amelia, used the 73-year-old woman’s personal information to obtain a credit card without permission.  She then allegedly charged $1,300 on the card.  Metcalf later obtained a Power of Attorney and is believed to have used another card, this one belonging to the elderly victim, to obtain over $13,000 in cash advances.   Metcalf also attempted to obtain a loan in the amount of $1,500, but the loan was declined.
