SHREVEPORT, LA-  Shreveport woman apprehended following alleged bank robbery

On November 15, at approximately 9:15 AM, Shreveport Police officers swiftly responded to a reported bank robbery in the 5900 block of West 70th Street. The quick action of the officers led to the arrest of 30-year-old Myiah McKinney.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers located the suspect inside a vehicle parked in the business's parking lot. McKinney was promptly apprehended and subsequently charged with one count of first-degree robbery. She was then transported to the Shreveport City Jail.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident, and the officer's efficient response ensured the safety of all involved parties.

We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
