Shreveport Teacher, Alvin Williams, Arrested

A local teacher is arrested. He is accused of battery on a student.

It happened at the Academic Recovery School in Shreveport.  53-year-old Alvin Williams of Mansfield is accused of grabbing the student by the neck when the 14-year-old tried to leave the classroom.  The teen was apparently being teased by classmates and decided he was going to walk out.  That's when the teacher apparently tried to stop him.  The boy suffered some scratches to his neck.
