Shreveport residents marched in the Stoner Hill neighborhood over the weekend. They are hoping to find a way to bring the community together to stop the violence.

So far this year, 8 people have been murdered in Shreveport. Latonya Jones was the city's seventh murder victim and her family members want to do whatever they can to help police solve the crime. Dozens attended a prayer vigil at the Hopewell Baptist Church before marching to to Valencia Park.
