Shreveport Police Officer Arrested

A Shreveport police officer has been arrested by Caddo sheriff’s deputies. 28-year-old Ryan Robinson has been booked into Caddo Correctional Center on charges of misdemeanor theft and malfeasance in office. He’s also been placed on administrative leave by Police Chief Willie Shaw. Robinson is accused of stealing a ceremonial American flag during the execution of a search warrant by the Joint Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force at a house in Vivian back in August of 2010. Sheriff Steve Prator says the flag was not an object of the search and was not listed as seized property on the warrant. Robinson has been a police officer since February of 2006.
