SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport police arrest felon with a firearm

The Shreveport Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Caddo Street on March 14, at approximately 5:47 p.m. Upon arrival, officers encountered 34-year-old Jerlarance Clayton, who was found to be in possession of a firearm and multiple types of narcotics.

Clayton, a convicted felon, has been charged with one count of possession of schedule two substances, two counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule one substances, and one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
