Shreveport Man Convicted for 2009 Shooting Will Be Sentenced Next Week
A Shreveport man is awaiting sentencing -- after being convicted yesterday for a 2009 shooting incident that left three people wounded. Shamichael Tillman, who will be 27 next week, was found guilty by a Caddo Parish jury of one count of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of attempted manslaughter and one count of resisting an officer with force. He was on trial for shooting into a crowd and a residence in the 2500 block of Malcolm following an altercation at the residence. He'll be sentenced September 20th. He faces more than 90 years in prison.
