A Shreveport man suspected in two home invasions and a couple of other crimes in the Highland neighborhood has now been arrested.  41-year-old Anthony McDonald is accused of committing home invasion robberies in the 500 block of Robinson Place and the 600 block of Prospect Street.  He's also accused of threatening to rob a couple at a bus stop near Line Avenue and Prospect if they didn't let him use their cell phone and of stealing a car from a woman he had recently met.  All four of those crimes happened on Monday, January 28th.  And, in each case, the description given seemed to point to the same guy.

Through their investigation, robbery detectives were able to focus on McDonald.  He was located at a home in the 100 block of East College.   The stolen car was also located at that residence.  After taking him downtown for questioning, detectives arrested McDonald and booked him on charges of attempted first-degree robbery, home invasion, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
