Shreveport Police Investigating City’s Latest Homicide

Shreveport Police are currently investigating a shooting call that has left a man dead and another injured.

This call came into dispatch around 6:17 p.m. from the corner of Broadway Avenue and Cleveland Street, which is located in the Mooretown neighborhood. When first responders arrived on the scene, they located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.

They located a second victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The first victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The second victim was transported to Ochsner Health Hospital to be treated for serious and non life-threatening injuries.
