Shreveport Home Damaged by Fire

Smoke filled the air in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood.

Shreveport firefighters battled a house fire on Stoner Avenue.

The fire started at about 4:30PM Sunday in the 200 block of Stoner Avenue between Centenary and Coty Street.
Crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the home upon arrival.

A portion of Centenary Blvd. was closed while firefighters were on the scene.
