Shreveport Firefighters Battle Smokey Paper Bale Fire

It's going to be a long day for Shreveport firefighters.  They were called to a large warehouse in the Slack Industrial Park just after 9am and arrived to find heavy smoke pouring from the building.  Inside, they found several large bales of paper smoldering and burning and called-in a second alarm for additional manpower.  They had the fire under control in less than 20 minutes but then they had to set up several of their large ventilation fans to help get the smoke out of the building before they could go in and start pulling some of the bales out of the building.  Nobody was hurt in the fire and its cause remains under investigation.
