Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Second Degree Robbery
On September 21st, 2023, around 7:50 a.m. Shreveport Police Officers to the 2300 block of Mansfield Road in reference to an assault and battery.
Patrol officers determined that the suspect attacked the victim and took items belonging to the victim. Witnesses advised that the suspect then fled the scene. The victim sustained injuries to his face and was treated by the Shreveport Fire Department.
Officers were able to identify the suspect as Arnold Ballard (6-7-76). On September 26th officers located Ballard in the 2300 block of Levy Street. Ballard was taken into custody and transported to the city jail where he was charged with one count of second-degree robbery.
We are required to remind that suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
