Sheriff Presents Teen Scholarship

A North Caddo Magnet High Senior is the recipient of this year's Louisiana Sheriffs' Scholarship for Caddo Parish.  Sheriff Steve Prator has presented Dylan Cowgill with a check for $500, which he plans to use when he enrolls at Louisiana Tech University to study engineering.  At North Caddo, Cowgill lettered in football and tennis.  He was on the Student Council, participated in Quiz Bowl, and was a Red Jackets school representative.

Sheriffs' scholarships are made possible by the Louisiana Sheriffs' Honorary Membership Program.  Louisiana sheriffs provide scholarships to graduating high school students from each parish where the sheriff is an affiliate of the program.
